An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced licensing professional who is enthusiastic and committed to join our Licensing Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and will be expected to provide extensive support in all aspects of local authority licensing, with a particular specialism and interest in the Licensing Act 2003, and the Gambling Act 2005.
Preferably you will hold a relevant qualification at degree level but you must have significant experience of such licensing matters. Previous supervisory experience would also be an advantage.
Candidates should be well versed in the above areas to ensure high standards of customer service are maintained and heightened communication skills are required to work with and across all stakeholders.
In addition you will be expected to take the lead on improvement projects and to develop a performance dashboard for the service, ensuring appropriate support to the Team Leader for Licensing. Regular attendance at Committee and stakeholder groups is also an expectation of this role.
