This is a variable hours contract between 6 hours and 25 hours per week, initially 15 hours per week, term time only. This is a temporary post, depending on numbers on roll. Working hours are 9.00-11.30 am Mon-Wed, 9.30 am-12.00 pm Thu, 9.00 am-3.00 pm Fri. The post will lead small groups of learners in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. It is likely that the post will rise to 19 hours per week from Sep 19; there may also be scope for additional hours, including supporting wraparound care in school.

Embleton Vincent Edwards CofE Primary School has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, teaching children from 3 to 11 years old. Our school lies in the heart of Embleton, a picturesque Northumbrian village just minutes from the pristine sands of Embleton Bay. The whole school uses its local beach to provide beach school education every Friday, and the successful candidate will be expected to lead some beach school activities.
