This vacancy is being advertising internally in the first instance to employees and agency workers of Northumberland County Council. You will provide a clerical and typing service supporting the Central Locality Team within Children’s Services and will report directly to the District Admin Manager. You must have a good standard of general education demonstrating numeracy and literacy. Recent experience in a similar position or a completed Apprenticeship is also essential. You will have experience of telephone and reception duties and good written and verbal communication skills.

Essential requirements are:
- Typing/Word Processing qualification of equivalent experience
- GCSE/O'level in Maths and English (Grade A-C) or Level 2 Key Skills/Functional Skills in Literacy and Numeracy

This is a full-time, permanent post based at Ashington.
The salary starts at £18,065. 
The closing date will be 23 October 2019 at midnight.
