Duke’s Secondary School, an academy within the NCEA Trust, is looking to appoint an Learning Support Assistant to join the busy additional needs Team. The additional needs team provides essential support for students who have a wide range of additional needs and / or disabilities.

Learning Support Assistants are instrumental in promoting and developing independence and delivering bespoke support and interventions.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to join this forward-looking Church of England school in Ashington. You will make a great addition to the team if you are flexible and committed to delivering high quality provision for all students while maintaining confidentiality.

The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, willing to help others and with an approach that is flexible to adapt to changing situations in a fast-moving environment.

This post is 32.5 hours per week (Monday - Firday 8:30am - 3:30pm), term time plus 5 additional days.
