Our governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated cover supervisor with experience in working with young people with a diverse range of needs to join our growing school. The primary role will be to supervise whole classes during staff absence (arranged or emergency), to ensure learning opportunities continue and the learning environment is well managed. The role would also include being part of a class team and supporting the class teacher.

An understanding and experience of the following would be beneficial to the role:
- Resources
- Environment
- Transition
- Visuals
- Regulation
- Communication & interaction
- Knowledge of Literacy and Numeracy interventions
- Sensory
- Supporting the removal of barriers for learning
- Working as part of and leading a team
- Multi disciplinary approach – SaLT, OT, ELSA
- Speech and Language (e.g. social stories, comic strip conversations, BLANK level questioning)
