Administrator within NIES

The Northumberland Inclusive Education Service (NIES) is part of Education and Skills and we work with children and young people in schools and settings offering a range of specialist support. We work closely with our schools and families to improve wellbeing, achieve better outcomes in education and to support those with ongoing additional needs and requirements.

NIES comprises Psychological Services, the High Incidence Needs Team and the Low Incidence Needs Team. We currently have an opening for an administrative post and the successful applicant will be providing administrative support to Psychological Services and the High Incidence Team.

The Role
We are looking for a team member to undertake a range of administrative tasks which includes processing requests for support from schools/settings and assisting with the production of a high volume of accurate reports. The post involves supporting the teams and processing confidential service requisitions and reports, maintaining accurate recording systems and working to statutory deadlines. The ability to converse at ease with our customers and provide appropriate signposting advice is important. You must be an excellent team player and have the ability to respond to the challenges of a changing office environment and the flexibility to develop as the job may demand. You must also be highly organised, have good knowledge of IT systems and be able to prioritise your workload to fit with service demands.

This is a fixed term position for 12 months.
