Programme & Digital Support Officer
Salary: £22,021 - £ 23,368
Location: South Tees (Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland)

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, motivated, and creative individual with a passion for reducing inequalities and improving health and wellbeing within the South Tees.

South Tees (Redcar & Cleveland and Middlesbrough) is one of Sport England’s twelve pilot areas for a radical, ambitious and ground-breaking programme to tackle inactivity and increase physical activity through whole system change. This role is critical to the effective and efficient functioning of You’ve Got This (YGT), the Sport England South Tees Local Delivery Pilot.

The post will provide administrative support for the core team and Programme Management Office while also supporting the update and growth of the You’ve Got This digital and social media presence.

As Programme and Digital Support Officer, you will support the Programme Management Office in delivering/developing projects. You will provide administrative tasks, arrange meetings, workshops, and events, prepare reports, and source content for social media platforms in line with the brand guidelines. You will communicate at a strategic and operational level with Sport England, the commissioned marketing and comms team, all ambassadors, and stakeholders, including communities, local authorities, NHS bodies, and the voluntary and community sector.

You will have experience in successfully supporting the running of projects or programmes and have a strong ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders. You will have a creative flair that produces exciting and engaging content for the YGT social media platforms and website. You will have excellent organisational and administrative skills to contribute to reports and provide management with information promptly.

About Us: Community Ventures is a support hub based in the centre of Thorntree, Middlesbrough. We provide a base for voluntary/support organisations who provide training, outreach activities, and wrap around specialist support to the community; in addition to these, we provide grassroots job clubs, art groups, after school clubs, and other community-led activities.

Community Ventures Limited is working in partnership with You’ve Got This. Community Ventures Limited will be the employer of this post and will host the role, but the successful applicant will still be an integral part of the core team within the You’ve Got This pilot.
