Reporting into the Procurement and Commercial Director, the Procurement Manager is a senior management role within the team that oversees the strategic and operational delivery of all of NEPO’s procurement activity, except Energy.
This role supports the Procurement & Commercial Director in the delivery of a customer-focused procurement service. This service is rested in the strategic development and delivery of collaborative procurement for local government in the North East and nationally across the NEPO Associate Membership.
Working cohesively with the Commercial Manager, this role will support the development of innovative solutions which enable NEPO to quickly and compliantly secure value for NEPO Member Authorities and NEPO Associate Members.
Ultimately this role will be tasked with ensuring compliant, timely and effective delivery of NEPO solutions against NEPO procurement policies, processes and the Public Contracting Regulations.
This role incorporates four direct reports and a further eight indirect reports.
