An exciting opportunity has arisen for an energetic, hardworking and self-motivated individual to join the Council’s successful Event Service and be part of the journey to deliver extraordinary and unexpected event experiences for residents, businesses and visitors to the Borough.

The post holder will support the technical planning and operational delivery of the Council’s annual events programme which includes Stockton International Riverside Festival, Stockton Sparkles, Cycling Festival and Fireworks Display.

Duties will include pre-planning and the onsite production delivery of events of differing complexity and scale. The post holder requires strong competence of the event planning process, including risk management methods and reporting and will be required to work closely with partners, external event organisers and other stakeholders in the staging of events on council land.

We are looking for an individual who has a strong working knowledge of outdoor events, with considerable experience of site management including management of event crews, external contractors and suppliers, event health and safety and technical delivery.

This post is temporary until 31 December 2021
