Level 2 Teaching Assistants for 1:1 work for pupils with Special Educational Needs

Temporary in the first instance until 31st July 2022, required for 1st September 2021

We also have an Enhanced Mainstream Provision for pupils with cognition and learning need and/or physical and medical need.

We require two dedicated level 2 Teaching Assistants who will work in EYFS or Key Stage One. They should have completed or be studying towards a Level 2 qualification. The successful candidate would work with individual pupils in mainstream classes according to need. They will also be required to work alongside a class teacher to provide accurate feedback on pupils’ progress.

The successful applicant would benefit from experience of working with children who have Special Educational Needs particularly sensory and/or physical and medical needs. We have an excellent and thorough induction package and further CPD is encouraged and provided. A visit to the school can be arranged for anybody shortlisted.
