This is an exciting opportunity to join Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Visitor Experience Team, supporting events including this year’s Stockton International Riverside Festival (SIRF), taking place from 29th July – 1st August 2021.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a genuine interest in events and in providing excellent customer service. As one of the team, you will have a crucial role in ensuring that everyone who visits our events has an unforgettable and enjoyable experience.
As an ambassador, you will be the first point of contact for artists and the general public. We are therefore looking for individuals with a natural flair for dealing with people, excellent communication skills and a willingness to respond to visitor queries in a polite and efficient manner. You will have initiative and will be required to think on your feet. As an ambassador you will have a fulfilling and varied role which will involve making lots of people smile!
This is a casual role, to join a pool of VE Ambassadors and you must be available to work on SIRF from Thursday 29th July – Sunday 1st August. You may also be contacted to work on other events throughout the year, on an ad-hoc basis. Please note, we are unable to guarantee any specific hours, however you will be paid a minimum of 4 hours for each shift.
