Further Information
Crossing the Tees Book Festival is an annual event that takes place across the Tees Valley in the North East of England. The festival started in 2014 and is a collaboration between the library services of Stockton, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Hartlepool and Redcar & Cleveland.
The aim of the festival is to bring a cultural programme, including literature and the arts, to the Tees Valley, for both residents and visitors.

The Crossing the Tees Book Festival Team are seeking an experienced Book Festival Co-ordinator on a freelance 12 month contract. The festival for June 2021 has been delivered online and it is expected that the Festival Co-ordinator will join the team to organise the 2022 programme, which we anticipate will include a hybrid of online and face-to-face participation.

You will liaise with the Team over ideas and direction for the festival programme, attending meetings as required. You will work alongside partners ARC Stockton Arts Centre with regards the marketing and promotion of the festival, and will lead on targeted campaigns to reach and engage with audiences. You must have access to your own IT equipment and will work remotely from your own base. Hours of work will be spread throughout the year, with a higher concentration at key planning and marketing times and during the festival itself.

IR35 rules apply to this appointment.
Payments will be made through payroll and tax and NI deductions will be made at source via PAYE in line with current HMRC guidelines
