An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the Trading Standards team.
We are looking for a qualified Trading Standards Officer with a proven ability to carry out a full range of inspections, investigations and enforcement actions across all areas of Trading Standards legislation.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Trading Standards processes and legislation, be comfortable giving advice and be able to deal confidently with investigations, report preparation, attendance at court proceedings and complaint resolution. You must be able to work and make decisions under pressure, whilst demonstrating impartiality and diplomacy.
