We are looking for a Social Worker with experience in mental health to join our enthusiastic social work team. This is a fixed term 1 year contract, there maybe a possiblity this post will be extended.
The successful candidate will initiate and implement care & support plans for adults. You will collaborate with a range of external services to access the resources required to meet the needs you have identified.
In everything you do, even when faced with challenging behaviours or circumstances, you should be able to think on your feet in a professional and balanced way. You will take any necessary immediate action to secure client safety and welfare.
You will work with complex adult mental health cases and will benefit from a good balance of autonomy and support. 
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your caseload but will always have regular supervision and the full support of your Team Manager. In turn, you may be responsible for directing and supervising care manager’s allocated to a case and/or supporting student social workers on placement with the team.
It is essential that you have a clear understanding of the Care Act and the Local Authorities statutory duties.

The salary is commensurate to the post £32910 - £36922.

You must be able to meet the driving criteria and hold a current driving licence with relevant business insurance.
