We are looking for a highly motivated Stop Smoking Advisor to join our Stop Smoking Team in the Northumberland Integrated Wellbeing Service. This is a fixed term maternity cover post for 12 months.

Applicants will have excellent communication, organisational and planning skills to deliver stop smoking support across the county in line with National and local guidance and standards. The post holder will work flexibly to the needs of the service to include out of hours working and some countywide travel.

The stop smoking advisor will have experience as an intermediate advisor with knowledge of stop smoking theories and practice. The advisor will work independently and alongside the service stop smoking specialists to provide stop smoking support and treatment using evidence based methodology. Applicants will make a substantial contribution to the improvement of health and wellbeing of target groups and individuals in Northumberland who smoke by helping them to stop smoking.

The salary is £24982 - 27741
