The School and Governor Support Service are seeking to appoint a motivated and articulate individual to its busy and dynamic team. The service provides high quality clerking, advice, guidance and support to school and academy governing boards and trust across Stockton on Tees, the wider Tees Valley. We would welcome applicants that have a good general education with excellent written skills, good organisational and communication skills and knowledge of the education environment and role and responsibilities of the role of Clerk to the Governing Body. The successful candidate must be proactive, work on your own initiative and be good team player.
The post holder will be required to work flexible and unsocial hours and to support and clerk meetings which take place both during the working day and on an evening. Due to the role requiring travel between venues a full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle is essential (car mileage is payable).
