22.5 hrs per week (worked over 3 days), Term Time only plus 3 additional days during school closure and as confirmed by the school

The governors at St. Mary’s wish to appoint an effective, well organised and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our office team. This post is to start on February 9th 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The successful candidate must be good humoured, resilient and enjoy working with adults and children aged 3-11. They must be well-organised, have excellent communication skills, proficient in their use of IT, able to manage the pressures of working in a busy office environment and able to work well as part of a team.

Previous administrative experience in a school office environment is desirable. In addition to this applicants must have as a minimum qualification, GCSE or equivalent Maths and English.

Duties will include:
• General Reception Duties including dealing with enquiries from staff, pupil’s parents and the wider public
• Managing services and supplies using the schools established systems
• Collection and entry of Data to maintain records in school’s computerised systems
