Governors at Newsham Primary School, Blyth, wish to appoint an Admin Officer to our team within this popular, happy and forward thinking school.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in the front of house procedures at Newsham:

• Undertaking reception duties, as the first point of contact.

• Answering general telephone and face to face enquiries and signing in visitors/stakeholders (adhering to safeguarding at all times).

• Handling and Accounting for Money and Related Resources,

• Ordering and Receiving Goods

• Assisting with pupil welfare duties including managing pupils’ records, looking after sick pupils’ and liaising with parents/carers and staff.

• General finance, ensuring the correct implementation of financial policies and procedures are fundamental aspects of this role.

• Planning the arrangements for educational visits (i.e. booking buses/sending letters to parents/carers)
