In the first instance this will be a fixed-term contract for 3 months.
*This post attracts the Newcastle Living Wage supplement. In addition to the hourly rate, this post will receive the Newcastle Living Wage supplement to bring the hourly rate up to a minimum of £9.90 an hour.
Valour Academy is looking to appoint a Cleaner for 7.5hrs per week to start in March to be based at Walbottle Village Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness to their designated area of school. You will be reliable, trustworthy, hardworking and able to work effectively. You must be able to work successfully as part of a small team. Knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and cleaning in a commercial setting is desirable. BICS certificate would be an advantage but training will be given.
We are strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be required to obtain a Certificate of Disclosure from the DBS.
