The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Family Placement Service for a Band 4 Finance Admin Assistant. You will prepare and process financial payments and recover associated debts. The role involves calculating payments relating to Foster carers, Adoption, Child Arrangement Orders and Special Guardianship Orders and completing annual financial reviews.

You will also provide a wide range of clerical support including data entry, ordering and processing invoices, handling petty cash and maintaining information systems - please refer to job description for further details.

We are looking for a team player with excellent numeracy and literacy skills, who is able to follow instructions and procedures without constant supervision and work flexibly to cater for the varying demands of this role.

We are offering:

Starting salary of £20,092 progressing up to £21,748

Essential requirements:
Experience in a similar financial role covering a broad range of support tasks and procedures.

Experience of working in a customer orientated service area.

Able to quickly and accurately manipulate numerical data.

Organise self and work without constant supervision, working to deadlines.

Able to follow instructions and procedures without constant supervision.

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a business related discipline.
