We have a creative and stimulating learning environment with a close-knit team of experienced, dedicated and highly supportive staff who are committed to developing the teaching and learning ethos which is evident throughout our schools.

Our schools are situated within the beautiful and much sought after residential area of the Tyne Valley. They are within easy reach of the cities of Newcastle upon Tyne and Durham and also the historic market town of Hexham.

Our Schools
The Federation of Broomhaugh and Corbridge (VA) Church of England First Schools was formed in September 2021 bringing together Broomhaugh and Corbridge First Schools under one Governing Body. The schools are located on two sites, 3.5 miles apart (10 minutes drive).

Our schools have a strong family ethos, work hard to make learning challenging yet fun, and seek to develop strong links between staff, parents, governors and the wider community.
The Federation benefits from a strong Senior Leadership Team. The Executive Head Teacher is ably supported by an Executive Deputy Head Teacher.

Within both schools, you will find a happy, welcoming, stimulating environment. They provide high standards of education, valuing the efforts of the individual and achieving the learning potential of all children whilst promoting equal opportunities. We promote learning for life and encourage children to learn no matter where they are, inside or out! We believe in developing the "whole" child who progresses to Middle School with confidence. We work hard to nurture, encourage, support and extend all of our children to achieve their full, individual potential.

Full details of each school are available in the information pack.

Visits to the schools in advance are warmly welcomed and you should contact our Office Manager, Mrs Susan Steele, Corbridge First School who will book your appointment. Date and times available are: Thursday March 17th at 9.15am or 4pm
