Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council is recruiting to two exciting posts to enhance its existing Information and Intelligence Team.

This post will work closely with teams across the Council and external organisations to help shape and inform the strategic direction and improvement of Council Services and play a lead role in relation to geospatial work.

The Information and Intelligence Team sits within Children’s Services at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council and is responsible for the development of an intelligence-led and analytical approach to strategy and improvement for Children’s Services.

On a daily basis, the Team undertakes research and analysis and provides and disseminates information and intelligence to support strategic planning and improvement in Children’s Services and all other directorates across the Council.

The Team is also responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the Stockton-on-Tees’ schools performance management Service Level Agreement and spatial information management.

The successful candidate would ideally have experience of managing information and/or intelligence projects, be familiar with and have experience of using Alteryx, Crystal Reports, GIS software, PostgreSQL, PowerBI, SSRS and SQL.

This post has been identified as suitable for flexible working which enables the postholder to work 60% of their working time away from the office.
