Further Information
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council prides itself on being a great place to work where staff are trusted, valued and supported to make a positive contribution at work.

Within the Learning and Skills Service we are driven and committed to support Stockton-on-Tees residents and businesses to meet their full economic potential whilst increasing opportunities, prosperity, wellbeing and cohesion in the communities we serve. We have a very clear mission to create a brighter future for all.

Ofsted (2018) judged the service as being a ‘good’ learning provider and we now strive to become recognised as outstanding in all that we do.

This exciting position provides the postholder with the opportunity to play a pivotal role in all aspects of marketing in order to effectively communicate and engage with key stakeholders including learners, apprentices, employers and partner groups. The post holder will lead on the production and publication of various marketing resources such as course guides, social media content and the Service website in line with brand guidelines to support recruitment targets.

The postholder will also support the Learner Services Manager to coordinate the maintenance of resources such as ICT and fulfil a capital replacement plan which will result in outstanding working and learning environments to support learners to achieve their learning objectives

We offer an excellent total reward package including a competitive salary, generous Pension Scheme and annual leave entitlement as well as access to a number of additional employee benefits and a wide range of learning and development opportunities.

This post has been identified as suitable for flexible working which enables the postholder to work 60% of their working time away from the office.

If you would like an informal discussion about the post, please contact Craig Taylor, Adult Learning and Skills Manager on 01642 528814.
