Things are happening and changing at pace here in Children’s Services in Stockton on Tees. There’s lots going on and we have come a long way. We’re seeking ambitious, hardworking and innovative people to join our team.
We are delighted to be seeking an Outreach and Youth Support Workers to join our youth support team, who work across Stockton. We work in schools, community venues and within the family home delivering bespoke packages of support to children and young people to ensure positive outcomes are achieved. You will hold your own caseload and work on a one to one or small group basis applying a child centred approach to reduce the risk. You will also work on outreach to divert young people into positive activities. The role also assists in the completion of return home interviews following a missing episode.
Please note there is 1 full time & 1 part time position available. These positions are temporary until March 2023.
