Due to the promotion of the existing post holder, an exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Finance Manager. Responsibilities of this post will include the co-ordination and development of the Council’s wide-ranging Capital Programme covering over £200m of approved schemes and the subsequent funding arrangements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing strategic financial advice on a range of matters to Directors and Senior Managers. Ensuring established relationships with a range of stakeholders continue to grow and develop, as well as creating new ones forms a critical part of the role.
As part of a pilot until 31st October 2022, this post has been identified as suitable for flexible working which enables the postholder to work up to 60% of their working time away from the office.
