We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient and motivated individual to join the Mechanical Building Services Design Team within the Design Services team of Community Services and Transport. This is a permanent full time post.
Reporting to the Design Services Manager and Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will provide key technical support in the design and delivery of a variety of Mechanical Engineering Installation replacement and maintenance schemes. Applicants need to be able to demonstrate a sound mechanical building services design engineering background.
Applicants should also be able to demonstrate a flexible and organised approach to their work and have good communication and interpersonal skills. Applicants should have experience of and be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and be confident in the use of Microsoft Office applications and be adept with Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge in the preparation and supervision of contracts would be an advantage. Ideally the applicant should have a HNC or equivalent in a related subject.
