One Year Temporary contract in the first instance, term time only, required as soon as possible to work 1:1 with a reception aged child with social communication and speech and language difficulties.

Mill Lane Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and committed teaching assistant to join our friendly and hard-working team, to work 1:1 with a Y4 aged child with social communication needs.

The successful candidate is someone who:
- has knowledge and experience of supporting pupils with additional needs
- can supervise and support pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning
- demonstrates an ability to manage the behaviour of children in a positive and supportive
manner
- has a basic awareness of inclusion, especially within a school setting
- has a flexible approach and ability to work as part of a team
- has the ability to think on their feet and use their initiative
- is motivated, passionate and reflective about their work
-is willing to engage in a program of professional learning as training will be offered
