The newly formed SEND Placement and Governance Service Area have an exciting opportunity available to recruit to the post of Casework Assistant
We are looking a highly organised individual who can work on their own initiative within a fast paced working environment.
Candidates should be passionate about supporting the service to improve outcomes for children who are vulnerable and have special educational needs. They should be able to manage and prioritise their own workload and have the resilience and ability to realign priorities at short notice.
They should have knowledge of special educational needs practices and have a commitment to learning new skills.
The successful candidate will support the service to ensure the smooth operation of it’s internal systems, records and legal timescales, build and maintain excellent communication with parents and stakeholders and support the Caseworkers within the service area to fulfil their statutory obligations.
This post has been identified as suitable for flexible working which enables the post holder to work 40% of their working time away from the office
