Dayspring Trust is a Multi Academy Trust in the north east of England currently comprising of two over-subscribed academies: Ian Ramsey CE Academy in Stockton and Venerable Bede CE Academy in Sunderland. The Directors of the Trust are seeking a highly organised, motivated and experienced professional to join our busy premises team as soon as possible.

Based at Ian Ramsey CE Academy you will be responsible for general security, health and safety, maintenance and development of the site. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated person who will hold a key role in maintaining our premises to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for the whole community.

Previous experience of working within a similar role in a school is preferred, communication and interpersonal skills are required. The successful candidate will act as a key holder and respond to occasional security call outs. Essential qualifications include GCSE’s grade A-C in English and Mathematics (or equivalent), plus proven general practical and maintenance skills.

The role is all year round (52 weeks per year) with a holiday entitlement of 23 days which must be taken during school holidays.
