We are looking for someone who:
• Can communicate effectively and work in a team environment
• Is patient, calm and has a good sense of humour
• Has some experience of working with KS2 primary aged children
• Has some knowledge of SEND and experience of working with SEND children (e.g. ASD, ADHD, attachment and trauma difficulties, specific learning difficulties)
• Is able to work under the guidance of the class teacher but can use their own initiative
• Is organised and is able to provide feedback to assist with next steps in planning.
• Provide targeted support to enhance learning for children with a range of needs: SEMH, dyslexia, dyspraxia, social interaction and communication difficulties.
• Has some knowledge of the curriculum and can bring creativity to the role
• Has at least grade C in GCSE in Maths and English and Level 3 Teaching assistant qualification
• Has a commitment to supporting all children to reach their potential
• Will be committed to the role, our values and our school team
