We are looking to recruit a Caretaker to lead the cleaning team and have key holding responsibility. The duties will include ensuring stock is up to date and ordered in a timely fashion, compliance with COSHH assessments and liaising with the Head of School to ensure the building is cleaned to a high standard. The post will also include locking the school at the end of the day.
The successful candidate must have good communication skills and the ability to maintain a high standard of cleaning. Experience of managing a team is preferred as you will lead an established team of three Cleaning Assistants. It is important that you are a kind, caring individual who can work as part of a team.
We are looking for someone who can use their own initiative whilst also taking direction from the management team. This job will involve all aspects of cleaning including some deep cleaning when required.
The post will be based in Preston Primary School however, the Trust reserves the right to require you to work at other schools in the Trust. As part of Lingfield Education Trust, there are exciting opportunities to work across the Trust and for career progression.
