Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy is a popular, over-subscribed academy for 11-16 pupils in Stockton-on-Tees. There are approximately 1170 pupils on roll with a pan of 237 in each year group.

Due to the current post holder’s successful appointment to a new position, we require an outstanding Director of Science, and an associate member of the Senior Leadership Team to start January 2023. The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills and will lead the Science team, maintain a relentless focus on teaching and learning and raising achievement. In addition to leading the science department, you will also have a whole school leadership role which will be determined based on the strengths of the successful candidate. The Academy is committed to the well-being of its staff and there is a comprehensive induction programme. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
