THE ROLE
We are recruiting for a Health Co-ordinator with a passion for fitness and wellbeing to join our Activ8 Health team. The Health Co-ordinator has a strategic role in the development and promotion of health, wellbeing and fitness across our facilities.
In this exciting role, the key duties will include:
• Ensuring high standards of staff performance, including leading and motivating a team of Health Advisors and sessional staff to deliver excellent service standards for our clients
• Assist the Health and Wellbeing Manager and Club Managers in achieving key performance indicators, target setting and budget management
• Implement customer retention schemes and activities that improve business performance
• Monitor and evaluate the delivery of all health – related programmes and activities and effectively communicate to key stakeholders
• Leading on the development and expansion of Lite 4 Life/Active Health programmes
• Proactively raise the profile, awareness and provision of our services
• Ensuring safe and effective operational management of the fitness suite
• The opportunity to develop, coordinate, plan and promote physical activity programmes for those referred to our programmes.

ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate should hold a recognised GP referral, level 2 Fitness Instructing or Level 3 Personal Training or equivalent qualifications with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Health and Fitness industry. You will be a highly experienced individual with strong leadership skills, with a can-do attitude and a proven track record in delivering key programmes and objectives. You must be able to maintain a strong cohesive team that are focussed on delivering excellent service to our clients. You must be able to support and advise Health Advisors and Coaches to deliver physical activity interventions and be proactive in raising the profile, awareness and provision of our services.

The successful candidate must have a natural ability to communicate to people at all levels, a strong customer focus, and be highly able to respond to customer enquiries and resolve customer complaints at the first point of contact and escalating to the Club or Deputy Manager where appropriate. You will be someone who goes that extra mile as well as being able to look for ways to help improve what we already do. Above all, you must be motivated by wanting to make a difference to people’s health and wellbeing, with knowledge of what it takes to deliver positive experiences.
