The Directors wish to appoint to the following post to commence September 2023 (or sooner if available):

Dayspring Trust is a strong Church of England Multi-Academy Trust, with Secondary Schools in Stockton and Sunderland. We are currently in the process of a merger to bring Dayspring Trust and Northern Lights Learning Trust together in Spring 2023, so this is an exciting time to join us.

Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy is a popular, over-subscribed academy for 11-16 pupils in Stockton-on-Tees. There are approximately 1175 pupilson roll with a pan of 237 in each year group.

Due to the current post holder’s successful appointment to a new position, we require an outstanding Director of Science, and a member of the Senior Leadership Team to start September 2023 or sooner if available. The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills and will lead the Science
team, maintain a relentless focus on teaching and learning and raising achievement. Science has been on a clear journey and is ready to move to the next phase of its development. In addition to leading the Science Department, there is the opportunity to take on whole school responsibility as you develop in
post to support your growth as a leader. The Academy is committed to the well-being of its staff and there is a comprehensive induction programme. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject
to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
