We are looking for someone to provide vital support in the Electoral Services Team.

You will support the Team Leader in the day-to-day operation of Electoral Services and all processes associated with maintaining the electoral register throughout the year ensuring that all statutory requirements are met whilst keeping the strategy to make the register as accurate and comprehensive as possible under review. You will also provide support in the management and delivery of elections and referenda.

We are looking for someone with excellent customer care, IT skills and strong written and oral communication. Excellent customer care is a must. The postholder should be a personable, committed, individual who is highly organized, flexible and can work as part of a team to meet tight deadlines. The postholder will have ideally have experience of the management of electoral registration and have the ability to plan, prioritize and produce accurate work.

This post has been identified as suitable for flexible working which enables the postholder to work 40% of their working time away from the office outside of statutory electoral registration and election periods. Some working outside of normal office hours will be required during election periods.
