As part of the Council’s Annual Apprenticeship Program, we have an amazing opportunity to gain work experience whilst studying towards Level 3 Content Creator apprenticeship qualification. Working as part of the Corporate Communications team at the Council, you will assist in creating and developing creative content as well as capturing and creating video, using photography and graphics which can be used across a range of media including digital, social media, website and print.
You will work closely with a wide range of Council services to support in researching, preparing and developing media messaging to maximise audience engagement, capturing the strategy and objectives of the brand and needs of the customer.
As this is an apprenticeship opportunity, you will be provided with all the training and support you need to be a success.
We are looking for someone with the following qualifications, personal attributes, skills and behaviours
• English Language & Maths Level 2 qualifications - GCSE at Grade C / 4 or above or equivalent Level 2 Functional Skills (Predicted Grade or Obtained)
• Communication skills - listening, spoken and written
• ICT Skills - Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
• Interest in video editing and graphic design
• Team player who is not afraid to try something new
• Commitment to own personal and professional development

SALARY: We pay our apprentices National Minimum Wage for Age:
• Age 23 and Over: £10.42per hour - £20,103p.a.
• Age 21 to 22: £10.18per hour - £19,640p.a.
• Age 18 to 20: £7.49per hour - £14.450p.a.
• Under 18: £5.28per hour - £10,187p.a.
