St Bede’s Catholic Academy and the Directors of Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust invite applications for the role of Parent Support Advisor for this popular and successful primary school. A key feature of the post is flexibility and a willingness to work as part of a multi-disciplined team under the direction of the Head Teacher. You will be required to:
• Work in supportive and partner role with all of our families;
• To work with children on social interaction skills, challenging and emotional behaviour, and to support and promote engagement and good attendance;
• Act as a positive role model for young people and their families/parents/carers, pupils, school staff and other agencies;
• Promote emotional wellbeing via planned intervention with young people and their parents/carers;
• To work with outside agencies to support vulnerable families;
• Work closely with other staff to support the safeguarding duties of the school and local community as a deputy designated Safeguarding Lead.
You will hold a Level 3 qualification or equivalent and be confident in the delivery of the needs required of the school, with the ability to work as part of a team, alone using your own initiative, having a professional approachable attitude.
