We are currently recruiting for a DBV Engagement Caseworker (2 Years Fixed Term).
Stockton Borough Council’s SEND Placement and Governance Service Area within SEND and Inclusion have an exciting opportunity available for a DBV Engagement Caseworker who will join the team to support the implementation of planned projects identified through the recent Delivering Better Value programme (DBV)
We are looking for candidates with a strong track record in engaging families, children and young people through the processes of innovation and change to support the implementation of DBV projects under the guidance of the team manager.
Candidates should be dynamic in their approach and motivated whilst also having a sound knowledge of SEND legislation and processes, including knowledge of pathways, preparing for adulthood and experience of working closely with schools and settings, particularly secondary and post 16 providers.
The successful candidate will be part of a small project team and will report directly to the Team Manager for DBV Projects, supporting them to gather the voice of children and young people and consult with parents on proposed changes to ensure there is engagement and investment in improving local services for SEND.
This post has been identified as suitable for flexible working which enables the post holder to work a % of their working time away from the office.
