Further Information
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council prides itself on being a great place to work where staff are trusted, valued and supported to make a positive contribution at work.

We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and self-motivated Digital Libraries Lead with the drive to take our service forward to meet the challenges of a digital society.

Working in a high achieving customer focussed service you will lead and develop our digital services, including Library Management Systems, web and social media content, digital resources and our ICT Suites based across all Library sites.

Leading and developing a team of staff, you will be responsible for the expansion of digital engagement programmes across all Library sites and within the Innovation Station. You will introduce creative technology-based workshops that will see the service upskilling communities across the Borough, enabling access to ICT and working to reduce the Digital Divide, whilst also providing opportunities for residents to explore the use of a range of technologies such as 3D printers, laser cutter and digital sewing machines.

Excellent digital skills are essential, including experience of managing systems and producing performance management data. You will have substantial experience of the digital environment, building partnerships and an eye for a funding opportunity.

We offer an excellent total reward package including a competitive salary, generous Pension Scheme and annual leave entitlement as well as access to a number of additional employee benefits and a wide range of learning and development opportunities.

If you would like an informal discussion about the post, please contact Emma Tennant, Libraries Development Officer, on 01642 526520.

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council is not a UKVI Sponsor organisation therefore we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
