Income Officer – 32 hpw

£31,364 pa pro rata 
 
Days of Work – Monday to Friday
 
We are looking for a team player who is highly organised and self-motivated with a professional manner and the effective communication skills to work in the Revenues and Benefits Service as part of the Income Team.
 
The role includes:
 
  • Managing the work of a team responsible for the processing and recovery of recharges levied by the Council, South Tyneside Homes and the Tyne and Wear Pension Fund. 
  • Supporting the Income Team Leader to maintain and develop systems for the billing and collection of sundry debts and ensure performance targets are met and income collection maximised. 
  • Assisting in the administration of Right To Buy Leasehold premises and where necessary, positively resolve enquiries from leaseholders.
