About the Role:
In South Tyneside we take pride in ensuring commissioned services are safe, high quality and deliver to our council desired outcomes.
We work closely with our providers on matters of quality, safety, and regulatory breaches on behalf the local authority and its commissioning partners to ensure they deliver in accordance with the Quality Assurance Framework.
We co-produce quality assurance approaches with partners and key stakeholders including people who use services and carers, providers from NHS, Private, Voluntary and Community Sectors and colleagues within the Council to ensure the quality of commissioned services using a collaborative approach.
About You:
As a Senior Quality and Market Oversight Officer you will be responsible for the delivery of contract assurance and quality monitoring visits, assurance assessments and data analysis.
You will work with our providers to sought resolution on matters of quality, safety, and regulatory breaches on behalf the local authority and its commissioning partners.
You will collect, analyse and manage contract and quality performance data, provider capacity, complaint and safeguarding concerns ensuring appropriate recording and reporting.
You will manage information regarding the capacity of care provider services.
You will keep abreast of new legislation – CQC’s KLOES, NHS policy, Local Government policy, best practice and of external factors relevant to the development of health and social care services and show understanding of how to apply change.
You will ensure full compliance with the Local Authority’s and ICB’s systems including Finance, Procurement and Legal Governance, Risk Management, Information Governance.
You will be passionate in the delivery of high-quality services, enabling people to live better lives. You will embed systems and processes enabling our services to remain effective, responsive, safe, well-led and caring.
