About the Role:
Assigned to our DoLs Team, as the Advanced Practitioner, you will assist in the management of a small team, including best interest assessors, managing and coordinating the workloads and ensuring that deprivation of liberty assessments are completed and statutory obligations met.
Working alongside the Manager to ensure the provision of safe and effective interventions for people, considering statutory frameworks essential to the role.
The Advanced Practitioner role will combine direct practice with a defined complex caseload offering professional advice and support to colleagues.
The post will support the Team Manager and colleagues in ensuring that there is timely and equitable access to social care assessment and services.
As a key member of the leadership team, Advanced Practitioners are expected to play a leading role, assisting the Safeguarding Manager to undertake reflective supervision and facilitate practice improvement, motivating and inspiring our practitioners to provide the highest standards of practice, that delivers positive outcomes for people, carers’ and their families.
About You:
Driven by research, innovation and the desire to develop best practice, you must demonstrate an applied knowledge of Adult Social Care legislation and be willing to undertake further bespoke learning and development to support your future progression.
As an advanced practitioner within the DoLs Team you will want to practice in a setting that believes that people are at their healthiest and happiest when they are supported to remain independent, close to the people they love and who love them, in the neighbourhoods and communities they call home.
