We have an exciting opportunity for a housing professional to join the Housing section of the Strategic Asset Management Team as a Housing Officer within the Place section to provide an effective repairs and void management service and contribute to the delivery of new social housing development.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual with proven experience of repairs and void management who is approachable, compassionate and has a genuine passion to deliver excellent property-related services to our tenants. You will need to be self-motivated and have the organisational skills to prioritise a demanding workload in a busy environment whilst maintaining high standards in service delivery across all aspects of the role.
In this varied role you will be involved in void management from void inspections, HHSRS inspections and stock condition surveys whilst working to deliver an excellent repairs service, including tenancy enforcement. You will also support the development and delivery of the new build affordable housing projects for the Council.
