We have an exciting opportunity for a housing professional to join the Housing Advice Team as a Housing Advice / Homelessness Officer within the Housing, Growth and Communities Department. The Housing Advice and Homelessness Team offers advice, guidance and support to prevent and alleviate homelessness. As a Housing Advice Officer you will work with a wide range of clients experiencing housing problems. You will understand the complexities of working with vulnerable people and demonstrate a clear understanding of needs and an understanding of homelessness legislation.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual with proven experience of working with vulnerable people. You will be resilient, patient and empathetic, supporting clients to secure and sustain a tenancy. If you have experience of working with adults and the ability to help support their journey to independent living we would like to hear from you.
