Further Information
Newcastle is a great City, with a proud history. We never stand still. Our children and families reflect the changing face of our communities, our vibrance and diversity.

We know the Covid pandemic has been tough for many, especially those who were already facing challenges. But we are ambitious about working with our communities to grow a brighter future.

We have bold plans to improve our work with, and outcomes for, children, young people and families. This is a commitment shared by city partners and can be seen in the launch of creative new services, the strength of our relationships and partnerships and increased investment, including from the DfE’s Strengthening Families Protecting Children Programme. Our progress and our ambitious plans were recognised by Ofsted who judged us to be ‘Good’ in 2022.

We are looking to recruit a committed and creative individual to work with children, young people, communities and partners to co-design systems that promote earlier intervention that leads to improved outcomes.

In particular you will play a lead role in our ambitious Children & Families Newcastle (C&FN) approach to the delivery of integrated early intervention services across health, care and the voluntary sector.
