Required for summer term 2023.

The Management Committee is looking to recruit a highly motivated, dynamic and passionate Deputy Head Teacher to support the Head Teacher to lead and further develop the school.

The successful candidate will inspire and motivate staff, drive change to ensure the best education provision and outcomes for our students, and will be fully supportive of our school’s ethos, values and vision.

The Deputy Head teacher will help to ensure the highest standard of teaching and learning, range of opportunities and standard of attainment for all pupils and work alongside the Head Teacher, staff and governors. In addition, they will help to maintain and extend links with all our partners and beyond the school boundaries.

This role will involve a class teaching responsibility.

This is an exciting and significant opportunity for applicants to work with a committed leadership and staff team to lead the school through its improvement journey.

The Beacon Centre is a behaviour support provision which operates as a split-site, with primary provision and the secondary provision co-located in purpose-built premises within South Shields.

Closing date for applications is 16 January 2023 – Midday
Shortlisting will take place on 19 January 2023 at 4.00pm
Interviews will take place on 3 February 2023
Observations will take place prior to interview
