Further Information
This is an exciting time for early help in Northumberland. We have been selected to be part of the national Family Hub Programme, jointly funded through the Department for Education and the Department for Health and Social Care. The principles of the Family Hub development are that we will be more accessible to families, better connected to drive progress on joining up and providing a whole family approach, and more relationship centred, building on family and community strengths.

This entails transforming our former Children's Centres, which were aimed at 0-5 year olds, into Family Hubs for 0-19 year olds (and 25 for young people with SEND), and building a network of co-located, connected, virtual and digital services.

Due to staff progression, an exciting opportunity has arisen in our North Locality Family Hubs for us to recruit a 30 hour per week 'Early Years Practitioner' post (fixed term - initially until 31st March 2025), working across our locality from their based at the Hadston Family Hub. The successful candidate will support the Family Hub team to deliver universal, prevention and early intervention pathway groups and programmes to local families, and be involved in the development, shaping and implementation of our future North Family Hub provision. Further details are available in the job description and person specification. If would like an informal conversation please call Marjorie Charrada, Family Hub Manger, 07769 147 021
