An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Horton Grange Primary School. A three form entry school with 52 place nursery located on the north western edge of Blyth on the Northumberland coast, only 15 minutes from Newcastle upon Tyne. The school was inspected in 2023 and was graded outstanding in every area.
From September 2024, we are looking for an excellent Upper Key Stage 2 teacher with a passion for primary education and a high degree of skill. This TLR post will also hold additional responsibilities including English lead and Upper Key Stage 2 cohort leader. You will have experience of Y6 SATs and will be part of the extended SLT.
You will be a team player, resilient, committed to ongoing learning and be driven to improve outcomes for children through a rigorous focus on teaching and learning. You will be capable of modelling excellent practice and playing a key role in the school’s journey ahead. We can offer you excellent CPD and potential future leadership opportunities.
