Are you or have you previously worked as an Area/ Regional Manager, Operational Manager or Registered Manger in the care sector?

We are looking for an experienced leader of multi-site services predominantly older people and learning disabilities, who is passionate about person centred support with a dynamic innovative approach to join our senior management team of our direct services.

About the Role:

The postholder will oversee the operational management and leadership of the Councils CQC regulated services including extra care, extra care reablement, shared lives and technology enabled medication administration service. By ensuring the performance, quality assurance and continuous improvement of services under their remit and contribute to the Council’s aims and objectives within an overall framework that safeguards adults and promotes the health, independence and wellbeing of people who use services.

You will be responsible for all aspects of service delivery including workforce management and quality management to ensure the provision is of high quality CQC registered care and support that promotes independence and well- being improving outcomes for people.

Working with your teams and people using our services, you will review and maintain systems and processes to ensure they adhere to all CQC requirements and South Tyneside Council’s vision and strategy.

The post holder will be at the forefront of the development of in-house services with the opportunity to design and shape future services.

About You:

You will have experience in managing CQC regulated services, specifically extra care, and/ or domiciliary care and will have experience of overseeing multi-site operations.

You will be passionate in the delivery of high-quality services, enabling people to live better lives. You will be accustomed to leading diverse teams through embedding systems and processes enabling our services to remain effective, responsive, safe, well-led and caring.

As the main driver for these services, you will be passionate, innovate, professional and a real team player.
