As Lead Practitioner, you will be based in the recently established Mental Health Pod. The Pod consists of three trainees currently in their first of a three-year Social Work Degree programme. Your role will involve supporting the management and development of Trainee Social Workers within the Pod. You will also act as the lead professional in managing cases that require extensive, skilled assessment and interventions that are purposeful, timely, and of high quality, facilitating the participation of adults, and their families when undertaking direct work, ensuring that the voice of the individual is heard throughout.
In line with the needs of trainees and the wish of AMHP to maintain currency in an approved role you will also undertake AMHP duty as agreed.
